The Aquarium Size, Surface Area & Volume app offers comprehensive tools for aquarium enthusiasts to calculate essential metrics such as volume, surface area, and weight, facilitating the construction of a tailored aquarium setup. Users need to input tank dimensions—width, radius, depth—and desired salinity levels.

Results are provided in a variety of measurement systems including US units, Imperial units, and metric. The surface area calculations reflect the top of the aquarium, which plays a critical role in oxygen diffusion into the water. Volume is presented as the maximum capacity of the aquarium in inches or centimeters, with corresponding measurements in gallons or liters. Additionally, the app calculates total weight based on the specified water volume and salinity, defaulted to 1.0 but adjustable per user preference.

The app supports various aquarium shapes:

A temperature converter is available for Fahrenheit, Celsius, and Kelvin, as well as a flow rate converter capable of converting between gallons per minute (gpm), gallons per hour (gph), liters per hour (l/hr), and liters per minute (l/min).
